Together Corner Seat

Walter Knoll, 2004

With Together, EOOS has reincarnated a furniture typology that had previously been at best ignored in this high-quality market segment: the corner seat. The archetype of chairs, from which the sofa and armchair had once developed, finds its way back into the kitchen, dining room or living room as a contemporary leather monolith with architectural grace.

Its visual homogeneity, which “seems to be of one piece,” holds “the place and its people together,” according to Harald. The corner seat stands for rituals of togetherness. It can be placed at a table, but its effect in the room also unfolds on its own. Already, Together is a multiple-prizewinning and often-copied classic.
