The world’s first LED retail spotlight, Tempura not only remains pleasantly cool, but also emits no UV radiation whatsoever. As a consequence, it naturally lends itself to use for lighting sensitive objects. Among other prominent references, even the Department of Archeology at the University of Zurich has made Tempura its spotlight of choice.

During the spotlight’s development, a focal aspect was to make it especially versatile: Tempura’s brightness and color temperature can be varied along a range of 2,700 to 6,500 degrees Kelvin. The face of the spotlight features six honeycomb lenses and was inspired by the gorgeous play of light breaking through the rose windows of cathedrals.
