For this exhibition, EOOS asked famous chef Helmut Österreicher to choose all the kitchen utensils which he thought should be included in a kitchen tool cabinet. Helmut Österreicher then planned a two-door cupboard together with Harald Gründl. The process took one and a half hours and was carried out on April 14, 2008: on three tables, representing the left door, the middle section and the right door of the cabinet to be constructed, Helmut Österreicher placed each of his utensils in the
order he considered useful, thus also assigning them their future positions in the tool cabinet. The positions of his utensils were recorded and served as the basis for producing the exhibit at the MAK. The result was a unique kitchen tool cabinet whose principle of order is completely defined by the user. The exhibition catalogue was published in a numbered limited edition and is available at the MAK Design Shop in a package with the book "EOOS. The Cooked Kitchen. A Poetical Analysis".
