This year’s Salone del Mobile has numerous new EOOS designs on display, including the “Cuoio” chair by Walter Knoll, which we like for its reduced simplicity. Thick leather and steel are the only components, making the chair minimalist and easily recyclable. Less volume, less parts, less material – this was the motto for our new sustainable spot “Liviano” as well, which can be viewed at the Zumtobel Light Centre. Duravit will present EOOS’s way of rescuing saunas from languishing in cellars. The two Milan Bulthaup Showrooms
offer a fresh look at the “b2” kitchen workshop, which was recently honoured with the Gold Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2010.
In Zona Tortona, Dedon shows our new “Pontoon” table, while the old Fabrica Bugatti serves as a place for “Surprising Ingenuity”, an exhibition on contemporary Austrian Design, including our designs for Bene and Alessi. Moreover, the spatial concept –
an intervention based on triangle mirror elements – comes from EOOS.
