The armrest of the Filo Chair can be understood as a drawn bow: it stretches at the point where it is thinnest, thereby allowing relaxing micro-movements. Generally, the mechanism of the Filo family results from a reduction of material. In contrast to the flexibility demanded in the armchair, stability rates highly with the Filo conference table: an “antler” made of die-cast

aluminum, which branches out to rails on the underside of the continuous table surface, gives maximum stability despite minimum structure and large distances between the central feet. Media boxes can be hung easily from the underside of the table, if necessary, and removed again at any time.
