The objective for Pontoon was to design a set of convenient extendible outdoor dining tables with a look that, on the one hand, is anonymous enough to harmonize perfectly with all existing Dedon furniture but, on the other hand, still expresses the specific Dedon style without compromise. EOOS developed an object, made from high pressure laminate, which at first glance appears to be an

archetypal table. Only on closer inspection does the subtle treatment of the hollowed-out legs, with their edges tapering downward, come into view. Apart from Satellite by Jean-Marie Massaud, the Pontoon tables by EOOS are to date the only pieces of the Dedon Collection that do not incorporate wicker components. They are available in dark gray or white, in four different sizes.
