Oota

Walter Knoll, 2011

The side tables of the Oota series play with the minimality of the wire material. The repeated arrangement of a single wire loop gives the frame a complex structure that resembles handmade wickerwork. The underlying support structure shows a star shape through the round tinted-glass tabletop.

Oota combines the logic of simple assembly and low material consumption with the poetry and the rhythm of the complex surface of a hyperboloid. The side tables are available in three sizes. The frame is made from black powdered or electro-polished steel.
