CLIMATE CHANGE! brought together design, architecture, and artistic positions exploring concrete strategies for ecological transformation. For the exhibition, funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, EOOS presented a series of speculative design projects addressing circular systems for mobility, energy, sanitation, and cooking. These included an electric charging station conceived as a commons, a vehicle concept developed in dialogue with Marcin Jakubowski’s Open Source Ecology project, the Lunar Lander for Laufen, in which microbial fuel cells generate electricity from urine, the Green Freeze 2, a modular, repairable refrigerator prototype using ambient air for cooling, and the Kitchen Cow.

Building on the research initiated with the bulthaup b2 kitchen a decade earlier, these projects proposed new circular approaches to domestic life and resource use. Although none have yet been realized, they demonstrate how design research can translate ecological thinking into tangible visions for future products and infrastructures.
