The backbone of this seating system for airport waiting areas is an aluminum beam onto which all other components are attached. It is designed to be as flat as possible, resting under the seats and tables so that it remains in the background – the individual seats almost seem to float, and the technical fastening elements are invisible.
A highlight of the system is that all components can be easily replaced: seats, armrests, tables, chaise longues, electrical sockets and legs. It can be set up quickly, and its light weight makes it easy to transport. The slit in the seat shells between the seat and backrest allows them to be manufactured out of sheet steel and plywood, and moreover to be cleaned easier.
