The conference table series is characterized by the tension between its one-of-a-kind nature and its status as a mass-produced product. On the one hand, it must be possible to customize each table individually in terms of size, technological features, and tabletop materials; on the other hand, it must be a highly industrialized product.
Our solution was to split the table into two components: Into an engineered core that is always the same, a kind of skeleton of the system, and the second part, which is the customizable component. The table edge is where the two worlds meet.
The trough is an option in the middle of the table: The technological support structure under the table gets through the table top and is visible as a cut-out on the top.

The part inside the cut is lowered and fitted with technology components. This cut can be closed with leather panels and solid wooden trays for hospitality.

The engineered protective soft edge with USB-C dashes is in contradiction with the archaic top materials such as stone or wood or glass.
