In this sofa series, our aim was to realize a flexible system that consists of as few individual parts as possible, is easy to repair and transport and without the modular character becoming all too obvious at first glance.
A plug-in system enables the backrests, the armrest and the side table to be simply inserted into the main frame and fixed in place without tools. The respective configuration can be changed at any time. All individual parts, including the upholstery, can be removed and repaired, or even replace if necessary. The cushions are made of quick-drying foam and water-repellent textiles. The solid teak side table floats atop the frame; rainwater drains away in the gaps between the boards.
All of the sofa’s modules are designed to stand alone or combine seamlessly in a variety of configurations.
The entire system features just six components: a seat frame, two backrests of different lengths, two different armrests and an integrated side table. As all elements can be packed flat, the transport volume is kept to a minimum.
