You typically sit in a relaxed and informal fashion on lounge chairs, but the dynamic is very limited. On quality conference chairs, in contrast, you are mobile, have a dynamic sitting sensation, but the situation around a conference table is formal. With this chair, we created a hybrid product for informal meetings, combining the relaxed feel of a lounge chair with the functionality of a conference chair. There is a version with a five-star aluminum swivel base (with castors or glides) and one with a four-star wooden base.
When a person sits down on it, the seat lowers and the backrest tilts backward – movements, unlike a classic synchronous mechanism, that are not coupled into one but activated independently by separate spring systems.
