Children’s chairs are often just scaled down models of successful adult chairs. With Okko, it’s the other way round. The chair was designed for children and then adapted for adults. Now it’s not children sitting on a small-scale adult chair but adults sitting on an enlarged children’s chair.
The chair is made of solid wood. While the backrest is made of pressed cellulose sheets, the seat is veneered plywood. Depending on the version, the seat and backrest as well as the circular connecting points stand out in color from the rest of the chair and underline its unmistakable character. It is available in three different sizes – all are stackable.
