For this piece of container furniture, we designed a special hinge that serves as a common pivot point for the adjacent glass and wooden doors. They can be opened independently of each other, but also together or rotated individually by 180 degrees. In this way, the wooden door can merge with the glass door, or one module can be opened while closing the other. The access points and orientation in the room vary accordingly – the space flows through the object or is screened by it, on one or both sides. It is up to the user where it is open or closed. A simple type of container furniture becomes a complex spatial experiment. In addition to the eight-door unit, there are also other variants with four doors and in different sizes and heights.
