In the search for the ideal light source for the b2 kitchen workbench came the idea for the horizontal, floating Lichtlüfter („light fan“), which combines the lighting with an air recirculation system. When the vent is switched on, the two slats that run along the bar if light open to the side and expose the air intake surface. In comparison to conventional bulky extractor hoods, Lichtlüfter makes optimal use of the space, an independent, elegant object floating in the room

As is the case with the complete b2 series, mobility is of vital importance. The Lichtlüfter hangs from two steel cables, so its position can be changed with very little effort.
